The hunt for knowledge.

Finding research books at either Holly Hedges or Pleasant Park is one of the challenges you can complete in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 .

To complete this challenge you need to hunt down eight research books, which have been hidden within both Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park.

Completing this Fortnite challenge will reward you with a good amount of XP, which will bring you closer to unlocking more Battle Pass skins .

You can find the research books for this Fortnite challenge in both Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park, which are named locations on the Fortnite map .

There are a total of eight research books - five in Holly Hedges and three in Pleasant Park - and you need to find them all to complete the challenge.

Both Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park are, however, popular loot hunting locations, especially at the beginning of a match, so, if you're planning on trying to win the match, we recommend splitting this challenge over multiple matches.

There are five research books hidden in Holly Hedges for this Fortnite challenge and here's where to find them.

One research book can be found on the floor just inside the house by the main entrance to Holly Hedges.

A second research book can be found next to the bookcase in the yellow house in the north-western part of Holly Hedges.

You can find a research book in the north-eastern house by searching the room past the kitchen.

Within the house on the eastern edge of town, you can find a research book next to the fireplace on the ground floor.

The final research book in Holly Hedges can be found next to the bookcase in the southern house.

Pleasant Park has three research books located on its grounds and you can find them at the following locations.

The first research book can be found between the bookcase and the fireplace of the middle house of the three found in the northern section of Pleasant Park.

Another research book is located on the white bricked house on the western side of the town next to the bookcase.

The final research book can be found in the house directly to the south of where you found the second; simply search the ground floor of this house till you find a bookcase and the research book sitting next to it.

Here's where to find Research Books as part of the Week 8 challenges.

We've got your whole list of Fortnite Week 8 challenges , but if you're looking for specifics on where to collect Research Books from Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park, you've come to the right place. In this guide we'll walk you through where to find all eight available Research Books in Fortnite . You can see all the Research Book locations on the maps below, as well.

Where To Find Research Books In Fortnite

Research books in holly hedges.

While there are eight available Research Books, five of them are in Holly Hedges, so it may be best to start there. Moving clockwise from the northwest corner of the location, you can find a research book on the ground in the following five locations:

• Northwest yellow house on the first floor
• Northeast corner on the first floor
• Eastern house on the floor
• Southern house on the floor
• Western house on the first floor

Research Books In Pleasant Park

Three more Research Books await your discovery within Pleasant Park. Like Holly Hedges, all Pleasant Park Research Books are found inside homes on the ground. Here are all three locations:

Fortnite chapter 5, season 3 is already losing some battle royale players, the infinity gauntlet might be returning to fortnite.

As part of this week's Fortnite challenges, you'll have to find and collect research books in Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park .

They can be quite tricky to find since these points of interest are quite large and have a decent amount of houses. Plus, when you're in a Battle Royale, every moment counts, so there isn't exactly time to search for research books.

Complete all the weekly challenges and you'll be rewarded with some XP to boost your season level . Thankfully, our guide will help you find the research books if you're having trouble doing it on your own. There are eight different locations.

Pleasant Park

There are three research books in Pleasant Park. They are all in different houses, so you can decide your route depending on which direction you're coming from when approaching the area.

Research Book #1

The research book is inside the first house on the left side of Pleasant Park, the yellow house next to the soccer field. Enter through the door and turn right. The book is next to the tall bookshelf, near the dining table.

Research Book #2

The next research book can be found in the second house on the left, the white house next to the soccer field. If you enter through the front door you will spot the tall bookshelf, and right beside it, on the floor, you will notice the research book.

Research Book #3

The last research book is on the northern end of Pleasant Park. It is the red brick house, the one in the middle, directly north of the gazebo. Enter through the front door of the house and keep walking. Behind the dining table, in front of the bookshelf, is where you'll find the book.

Holly Hedges

There are five research book locations in Holly Hedges. They are all in different houses, and here is where to find them.

Research Book #4

The first research book is on the southern end of this POI. The house it's in is made of brick and is quite large, with a garage and a second floor. Enter through the front door and you will spot the book right next to the shelf.

Research Book #5

Next, in the southeastern part of the location, there is a tall yellow house. You will notice that it is three stories high. Enter the house, and on the lowest level, you will find the book next to the fireplace.

Research Book #6

This research book is in the yellow house on the northeastern corner of Holly Hedges. Enter the house through the front door and then turn right into the living room. The book will be on the floor in front of the bookshelf.

Research Book #7

The next book is in the house on the northwestern corner of Holly Hedges. Simply enter through the front door and the book will be next to the bookshelf in the hallway.

Research Book #8

The last book is inside the blue house, west of the big store in the middle of Holly Hedges. It is on the floor in the hallway, right in front of the door.

The latest set of Fortnite challenges is now available, and one of this week’s challenges requires you to collect research books from Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park. There are eight research books in total to collect, five in Holly Hedges and three in Pleasant Park. This is a fairly simple challenge to complete, and you’ll get a large chunk of experience to help you finish the Season 6 Battle Pass if you haven’t already. The books always spawn in predetermined locations, so they’re easy to find if you know where to go. There’s only a month left to go in Season 6, so get those challenges done and get those skins while you still can. Here’s where to find research books in Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park in Fortnite.

Holly Hedges Research Books Locations

There are five research books located in Holly Hedges. Each of their locations is listed below.

• In the yellow house in the northwest corner of Holly Hedges
• In the blue house in the western part of Holly Hedges
• In the brown house in the northeastern corner of Holly Hedges
• In the green house in the southeastern corner of Holly Hedges by the soccer goal
• In the brown house in the southern part of Holly Hedges

Pleasant Park Research Books Locations

There are three research books located in Pleasant Park. Each of their locations is listed below.

• In the small house surrounded by a fence in the northern part of Pleasant Park
• In the green house on the western street of Pleasant Park
• In the white middle house on the western street of Pleasant Park

Once you collect all 8 research books, the challenge will be complete and you’ll earn 24,000 experience for the Season 6 Battle Pass. There are plenty of other challenges to work on this week, including dancing in the Durrr Burger Kitchen or using a Firefly Jar at the Pizza Pit. There seems to be at least some intrigue during Fortnite Season 6 as players try to uncover the mystery of the Spires and The Seven, and one Week 8 Epic Quest continues this trend by having players find research books. During Week 8 of Fortnite Season 6, players are tasked with searching buildings to find eight research books around Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park. While the contents of these books will not necessarily provide more lore the way the Fortnite Season 6 Spire Quests do, this quest will reward players 24,000 XP toward their Battle Pass and can contribute to the needed Epic Quests to unlock other Neymar Jr. cosmetics.

All the books in Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park are found inside houses, but players will need to be careful when trying to access them all. Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park are points of high traffic in the early stages of a match, as they tend to be some of the best locations for gathering loot . Though players do not have to compete to find books, as every player gets their own set, there is still a chance for someone to get eliminated along the way. This may be one Epic Quest to complete in Team Rumble to avoid getting into as many skirmishes. Here's where to go to find and collect all eight Research Books in Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park in Fortnite Season 6.

Where to Find Research Books in Holly Hedges in Fortnite Season 6

There are five Research Books in Holly Hedges during Week 8 of Fortnite Season 6. They are located in houses fairly spread around the perimeter of the POI. The map above by Fortnite.gg shows all the locations where players will find Research Books in Holly Hedges. A more detailed description of each appears below:

• Northwest house (Yellow siding): Next to the larger of the two bookshelves in the hall.
• Northeast house (Beige siding): Next to a bookshelf in the living area by the TV, couch, and garage.
• Southeast house (Green and Grey siding): Using the front entrance, inside the first door on the left, to the right of the large fireplace.
• South house (Brick): Next to the tall bookshelf immediately to the left of the front door.
• West house (Green siding & Brick): In front of the tall bookshelf to the left of the front entrance.

When players find a book, they will need to get close and interact with it following the button prompt on their screen. They may need to hold a few seconds to pick it up.

Where to Find Research Books in Pleasant Park in Fortnite Season 6

Players can find the final three Research Books in Pleasant Park . The map above by Fortnite.gg shows all the locations where players will find Research Books in Holly Hedges. There are two in houses next door to one another on the southwest side of the POI, and on on the north side. A more detailed description of each appears below:

• North house (Red Brick): Between the dining room table and the bookshelf.
• Southwest house (Green Siding, off-kilter windows): To the left of the bookshelf by the dining table. Players will need to enter from the front door and take a right to find the right room.
• West house (just north of the southwest house; White Brick): Between the TV and the tall bookshelf to the left of the stairs.

Once players find and interact with all eight Research Books, the Epic Quest will register as complete. They will earn 24,000 XP toward their Fortnite Season 6 Battle Pass .

Where to Collect Research Books in Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park

We’re coming into a new week of  Fortnite  Chapter 2 Season 6, and we have a few new challenges to complete. One of the Week 8 challenges is to collect some research books from two points of interest. There are only eight in total, so that means you’ll have to visit every spot to complete this one, and there’s going to be a lot of people thinking the same thing. To help you get a jump start, we got the locations for you. Here’s where to collect research books from Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park in  Fortnite .

Here are the locations for the eight research books in Holly hedges and Pleasant Parks. There are five total in Holly Hedges, and three in Pleasant Park. You can find map guides below, along with brief descriptions of where to find each research books. In short, each book is on the first floor of the building, so you don’t need to do much exploring throughout the houses. A quick in-and-out exploration will do just fine.

Holly Hedges

There are five books in total at the Holly Hedges location. The first house is on the southern house, or the dog house, in Holly Hedges, sitting next to a book case. From there, working counter-clockwise, you’ll need to hit up the three story green house, and check next to the fireplace.

For the next book, head past the soccer field and down the hill to the yellow house. Head in the front door and make a right, and you’ll see the research book next to a bookcase. For the next book, you’ll find it in the most northwestern house in the top left corner. Head through the front door, and you’ll see it on your left hand side. Finally, head south one house, and check just inside the front door, and you’ll see it lying next to a bookcase.

Pleasant Park

There are three books in total at the Pleasant Park location. You can start at the two-story brick house to the north. Walk inside the back door and check immediately to your left to find the book next to a bookcase. From there, head southwest, to the bottom two houses. First up, for the large gray building, walk in the front door, and head left to find the book between a bookcase and the television set. Finally, in the most southern house, walk through the front door, past the kitchen into the room on the left side. You’ll find the final book lying next to the bookcase.

Here’s a guide on where to find and Collect Research Books from Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park.

The Fortnite chapter 2 season 6 week 8 challenges are live. As usual, we have seven Epic quests to complete along with the Legendary quest. This week, players are tasked with drinking from one location to another without getting out of a vehicle, using firefly jars at a certain location, and damaging opponents within 10 seconds of landing.

The legendary quest requires players to destroy structures with fire. The five stages for the legendary challenge for destroying structures with fire is 100, 200, 300, 400, and 500.

One of the challenges requires players to collect research books from Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park. Here’s the locations of where to find and collect research books from the above Fortnite Locations.

Where to find research books in Pleasant Park

One of the locations where you can find and collect research books in Pleasant Park is the last house on the south-west side of Pleasant. Head through the front door, take a left into the kitchen and left again in the front dining room. You’ll find the search book on the floor in the corner.

Here’s the map location along with an in-game image:

From the above location, head north. The first house next to the one above, the grey brick house, will have a research book on the left on the bottom floor by the book shelf.

Head north again to the “no loot” house and you’ll find another research book on the ground floor by the back door.

Holly Hedges Research Books Fortnite

The last house on the south side of Holly Hedges will have a research book. You’ll find it on the left side next to the book shelf as soon as you walk in through the front door. Here’s the map location:

Head to the tallest house in Holly Hedges to find another research book. It’ll be on the bottom floor in the room on the left next to the fireplace.

There’s another book in the house with the double garage. Head through the garage, open the door on the left and then go left. You’ll find a book by the book shelf by the window. There’s another book in the yellow house on the bottom floor along with one in the blue house.

How to collect research books from Holly Hedges & Pleasant Park in Fortnite

One of the Week 8 Epic quests in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 6 requires you to collect research books from Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park. Here’s where you should look in each location.

Weekly challenges give you the opportunity to earn some extra XP as you progress through the Fortnite Season 6  Battle Pass . We’re now in Week 8 of Season 6, and there are plenty of new Epic quests to tackle .

One of these will have you visit the Pleasant Park and Holly Hedges POIs in search of a few research books. You’ll need to find and collect a total of three from either of these areas, and we’ll tell you where to look.

Where to find research books in Holly Hedges

Holly Hedges on the West side of Fortnite Island, and is a relatively small suburban area. It consists of a few streets, and many neighboring houses for you to explore.

Research books have green covers, and can be found lying on the floor next to book cases. You can find five of these within different houses in this area, and we’ve marked them on the map below:

Where to find research books in Pleasant Park

If you arrived at Holly Hedges, and found it overcrowded players, then you can rotate over to Pleasant Park. The good news is that both POIs are close to each other, since they’re both on the West side of the map.

This area is slightly larger, and only contains three research books. Luckily, two of them are in buildings that are right next to each other, with only the third one being a bit further away. You can take a look at their locations below:

As we mentioned before, just keep an eye out for bookcases when you enter the buildings. The green research books should be lying right next to them on the floor. Just collect a total of three, and you’ll have completed the challenge.

One thing to keep in mind is that these areas might have higher player traffic than usual as a result of the weekly challenges. For this reason, you should be ready for a fight when you arrive there.

One of the challenges in Fortnite Week 8 Chapter 2 Season 6 is to find research books at Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park. These are spread all around both locations and will be tough to find.

Luckily for you, we have already tracked them down, and can show you where to find them in both the video below, and the individual maps of both locations.

You need to find four of the research books in total to move on to the next step of the challenge. All of them can be found on the ground floor of the indicated buildings, usually near a bookshelf. Remember, it is possible for a book to be destroyed by another player, so if you reach any of the locations and there is no book, just move on to a new one.

One of  Fortnite 's Season 6 Week 8 challenges instructs players to collect research books from Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park, and a total of eight need to be obtained. In general, the research books can be found inside of structures at the two aforementioned locations, though some fans may have trouble tracking down the correct buildings. For those players that want to expedite their searches, this guide details the exact locations of eight of the research books in  Fortnite .

To note, all of the research books highlighted in this guide are on the ground floors of the buildings that are indicated in the maps below. Furthermore, all but one of them are lying on the ground next to bookcases, and their blue glows makes them quite easy to spot. For full clarity, the outlier is the research book marked with a "4" in the Holly Hedges map, and Fortnite  players will find it sitting next to a fireplace.

Upon locating one of these research books, players should approach it and press the input that appears onscreen to interact with it. This action will cause the object to immediately disappear, and fans should find that they have received credit toward the relevant challenge. Ultimately, this will conclude upon interacting with the eighth book, at which point players will earn some XP and make some progress on  Fortnite 's Season 6 Battle Pass .

This challenge is certainly not the only new opportunity for players to work on their Battle Passes, though, as there are a variety of additional tasks to complete. For example, there is another new challenge that asks fans to use one of  Fortnite 's Firefly Jars at the Pizza Pit, and players may want to head to that location after they finish collecting the research books from Pleasant Park.

Additionally, there are a couple of tasks that center around Guardian Towers in  Fortnite , and indeed there are two of these structures in the vicinity of Pleasant Park and Pizza Pit. This creates a good chance for players to overlap their challenges, and fans that are interested in earning XP as efficiently as possible should certainly consider doing just that.

Fortnite challenge guide: Collect research books from Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park

With the start of Fortnite season 6, week 8, you’ll want to jump in and complete the new set of challenges. As is common this season, the challenges aren’t too tricky, though some of them do require you to visit certain locations that you might not be aware of. One challenge is to collect research books from Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park. To complete it, you only need to find three of the eight books that are spread out across each area — and you can mix and match.

What this means is that you only have to land at one location to meet the requirements of the challenge, so you should be able to finish this one quickly. In this guide, we’ll show you where all eight books are located, with images of each. Here’s how to collect research books from Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park in Fortnite .

Research book locations

Use the map above (thanks to Fortnite.gg) for reference. As you can see, there are eight research books in total, but you only need to collect three of them, and they can be from either location. We recommend landing at whichever location is the most out of the way to lower your chances of coming across another enemy team. The nice thing is that these books are all relatively close to one another, so you can quickly grab them back to back, even if someone is nearby.

We’ll show you where each of the books are located below.

Holly Hedges research books

You can collect any book at any time, but for the purposes of simplicity, let’s start at the bottom of Holly Hedges (we’ll wrap around counterclockwise). This book is found on the first floor of the house on the south portion of this area, slightly to the east.

Second book

Next, head east to the house on the corner, and you’ll find this book by the fireplace.

After that, make your way north to the house on the top right corner to find the next book on the bottom floor, near a window.

Fourth book

The second-to-last book is in the northernmost house on the bottom floor.

And the final book can be found inside the westernmost house, also on the bottom floor, near a bookshelf.

Pleasant Park research books

If you decide to go to Pleasant Park instead, make sure you visit the southwesternmost house. The book is in the corner by a bookshelf.

The house just north of the previous house has a book on the bottom floor. It’s next to the TV.

The final book is in the northernmost house in the center, directly at the top of this area. The book is on the first floor, next to a table.

Most things in Lego Fortnite are grounded in reality -- well, as much as they can be in a game where you are a little Lego man running around collecting resources and building entire villages by yourself. You slowly accumulate better gear as you craft new items and upgrade your existing facilities so you can venture further out and face tougher challenges.

There's some equipment that works a bit differently, namely your Trinkets and Charms. These little doodads can be crafted as you collect specific resources, they come in a range of rarities, and all of them give your character a specific buff that can be placed on your armor to add to your character. Although the majority of the Fortnite Season 6 Week 8 challenges are quite straightforward, there is one that is more complex. One challenge tasks you with finding research books in Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park in Fortnite . However, once you know where to look, the challenge is relatively easy to complete.

The quest directs you to visit Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park to collect the research books. However, it is recommended that you visit Holly Hedges first as this is the area with the most research books. All of the Fortnite research books that you are looking for will be found inside buildings.

Finding research books at Fortnite ‘s Holly Hedges

There are a total of five research books that can be found at Holly Hedges. You will find one on the ground floor of the yellow house to the northwest of the point of interest. Next, you will have to visit the brown house in the northeast corner to find the research book near the garage. There is another brown house to the south which has a research book sample on the ground floor. Not too far away, the tall building to the southeast of Holly Hedges has a research book in the living room. Finally, you can make your way to the ground floor of the blue house to the west of the point of interest.

Research books in Pleasant Park

Pleasant Park has three research books scattered around. The first is located in the house to the very north of Pleasant Park. Once inside, you will find the research book in the dining room area. Following this, visiting the green house at the southwest corner and making your way to the dining room will allow you to find another research book. The final building is the white house on the same row as the green house. You will find the research book next to a bookcase and in front of a sofa.

Once you have grabbed all eight Fortnite research books, you will be be rewarded with 24,000 XP for your efforts. If you are trying to boost your battle pass further, there is still time to complete the Spire Quests .

There are five research books to be found at Holly Hedges in Fortnite, making it the best place to visit to complete this challenge. Here are their locations:

• In the northwest yellow house, on the ground floor.
• The brown house at the northeast corner, near the garage.
• In the tall building at the southeast, inside the living room.
• The brown house to the south, on the ground floor.
• in the blue house to the west, on the ground floor.

Fortnite Week 8 challenges: How to collect research books from Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park

Epic Games recently added a bunch of new tasks to the Fortnite Week 8 Challenges. Loopers can earn a total of 168,000 XP by completing all of them, while each individual challenge fetches 24,000 XP.

There are a total of eight research books which players need to find to complete this challenge. It can be found as ground loot at specific houses at Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park.

Popular YouTuber, InTheLittleWood, uploaded a comprehensive video showing all the locations where players can collect research books from Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park.

Loopers can find five research books at Holly Hedges and their locations are as follows:

On the southern edge of Holly Hedges, near the doghouse. This is where players will find the first one.

The second book is in a light-green building with two stories. Players will find the research book by the fireplace.

Loopers can collect the third research book from the big brown hill past the soccer park.

The fourth research book is hidden in the bright yellow building northwest of Holly Hedges.

The fifth book is located at the big brown and blue two-storey building.

Similarly, players can visit the following locations in Pleasant Park to collect research books and complete the Fortnite Week 8 challenge.

Players can collect research books at Pleasant Park by searching the red-bricked house on the northern side of the POI.

The second book can be found at the gray house with blue ceiling.

The third and final research book can be collected from the building with a vehicle in front.

There are three books at Pleasant Park and five at Holly Hedges. Players will get 24,000 XP for completing the "collect research books" challenge in Fortnite Season 6.

• Southeast House: go through the door right next to the soccer player you need to find for the Fortnite "Neymar Jr." challenge. Turn right and go through the door. On the right side as you go through the door sits the book.
• South House: this is also located on the first floor in the main living area.
• Northeast House : this research book is located by a bookshelf near the TV and the entrance to the garage.
• Northwest House: If you go through the front door, it is located next to the larger of the two bookshelves.
• West House : This is located on the southeast wall of the house in front of the garage.

It’s time to do some research. Ragnarok, our Viking warrior from way back in Fortnite Season 5, has some notion of the “Chuggus”, and he wants us to hunt down some dusty old, conveniently glowing books in order to see what’s going on. This is one of the tougher object hunts that we’ve had in a little while, because while these things do glow with a slight blue tinge, they’re small and tucked away in little corners. Luckily, I’m here to help. Read on for a map, guide and locations for where to collect books from Holly Hedges and Sweaty Sands.

Holly Hedges: Best to tackle these individually. There are, from what I can tell, three books in each location, so you’ll be able to miss one and still complete the challenge. Let’s go to the map:

Those three are:

• In the tall yellow Victorian on the east side of town. Near the fireplace to the left after you walk in.
• In the house with two garage doors in sort of the northeast—the middle one on that map. In the corner of one of the rooms towards the back of the house, near a window.
• In the yellow house, next to a bookshelf as soon as you walk in.

Sweaty Sands: It would be difficult to do this all in one match, but not impossible. If you manage to snag a vehicle or just get a circle that closes in on your next location, it would work. The map:

Those three are, from West to East:

• In the multicolored house in sort of the southern center: it’s green, brown, stone and yellow. The book is next to the kitchen counter.
• In the big apartment building far to the East. There’s a bookshelf near the desk with a mailroom sort of thing behind it, the book is right in front of it.
• The small house across the street from that apartment building. The book is near a bookshelf.

And that will do you: this took me two matches, but again, it should be possible to do it one if the stars align a little bit. Other than that, continue on your quest to see what exactly is up with Chuggus. The books didn’t turn out to be all that helpful, according to Ragnarok.
