Learning at my school is fun and it is made possible only because of the teachers.

But, all of this isn’t enough to make me a good human being and succeed in life. It's stated that school helps to mould us into more mature adults. An excellent school produces excellent students. Teachers at my school support kids in their extracurricular activities, sports, and academic endeavours. They serve as the foundation of the school and instil in us critical life principles that we must implement daily. Our cooperation with friends and classmates is something we learn in school. Values such as sharing are modelled in children from an early age. Studies and extracurricular activities are given equal weight to help us grow as people. Our schools will always try to concentrate on our complete development and help us become healthy adults.

All great men have been taught to read and write at their schools. Thanks to our school, we acquire the proper values at a young age. We impart a set of strict moral principles that assist us in the future. Most of your early recollections are likely to be associated with the school. Living together with our peers teaches us to smile, weep, share, and give support to one another. In addition to providing a framework for developing our moral character, schools also operate as a road map for achieving our goals.

The first few school years go by quickly and are the best of our academic lives, but the higher classes show us that life is not always straightforward. We make mistakes on tests, stay up late to complete homework, and receive criticism from teachers, but most importantly, we learn how to handle the challenges that life throws our way.

Man is not born intellectual; instead, he acquires information by arriving in this world and does so through his education. Any person can advance in the proper direction and succeed in life with the help of school. Every parent encourages their children to attend school from the start because they recognise the value of education and realise that knowledge is the foundation for a better future. Children exhibit a sense of unity and connection at school in addition to their mental growth. All students are encouraged to advance because there is no discrimination at the school, and everyone is treated equally.

My School Environment

My school is located in a peaceful area of the city, distant from the noise and pollution of the city, and green trees and plants surround it. This allows us to study in a calm and unpolluted environment. Our school contains roughly 50 rooms, and there are three to ten sections in each class. There are approximately 3,000 students in my school. Additionally, the school features a playground, garden, and canteen where we hang out with our friends during downtime.

In addition, swings have been made for the students of class 1 at my school so they can amuse themselves while they study. Children are also taught several experiments in computer laboratories, chemical labs, and physics labs. In addition, a sizable auditorium is present, where various festive and cultural programmes are occasionally held.

Discipline in My School

Discipline is a priority in my school. As soon as we enter the school, we have a morning assembly where we sing the national anthem. In addition, a dress code has been established in our school to maintain order for all of our students, and the cleanliness of our dress is given special attention in the classroom. In addition, my school's principal is excellent; he sympathises with every child's problem and patiently listens to them. Every teacher at my school is fantastic. My school one amongst the best schools in the city. I feel proud to be a part of Delhi Public School, Varanasi. I feel honoured when I walk through the lanes wearing my school uniform, it’s indeed a euphoric moment for me.

My school has a large playground where we all play in the recess hours. Three stages, one for the primary sections, the other one for junior sections and the last one for super seniors. We rarely could see them, we think they’re always studying or fighting.

The swings in our school are painted in red and yellow, the vibrant colours look great to the eyes. Our school is painted in yellow and it’s windows in blue. It has a huge building, spacious classroom with its walls filled with our doodlings and poems.

My Teachers

My Teachers are the epitome of knowledge and patience. They bear with us, teach us textual as well as real-life things. It’s enlightening to talk to them, listen to them. They tell us things about their own lives, their struggles while reaching where they are. They can easily solve problems that we struggle with. They help us grow and learn better.

It’s said that the real knowledge and wisdom could be inculcated in a student through a teacher only, and that’s true. Our teachers are very friendly and accepting. They love us with our flaws and imperfections. They make our classes enthralling with facts and wise with their sayings.

I don’t have many friends, though I have forty students in my section. But I have two best friends, we roam together. Eat our lunches sitting on the same bench, and when either of us wants to go to the canteen, we all go together like best friends. Our canteen’s food is tasty, the canteen provides us with delicacies, my favourite food there is idli dosa.

The other people in the class are also friendly, my school provides me with an ambience where I feel confident and get a sense of identity.

The atmosphere at my school is delightful. We have a huge playing ground where we all students play different games like Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, etc. We have a separate Basketball and Tennis court, as well as a small and beautiful garden for kids.

The students practice these sports every day. The school also has a big swimming pool and sports area for indoor games. In this area, the students can play Table Tennis and Chess. My school has a big library where we all read different kinds of books, novels and comics. Apart from the library, my school has well-equipped scientific labs where we all practise various experiments of Chemistry, Physics and Biology. I have learned a lot of things in these labs. My school also has a big computer lab with trained technical staff that help us to learn everything about computers. I love playing on the computer and learning new things in the computer lab. In the computer lab, the students learn about using MS Word and PowerPoint. The computer lab is also called the ICT lab. The ICT teacher teaches the students about the internet and how to use it safely.

All the staff at my school are very polite, educated and experienced. Our teachers not only teach us but also prepare us for various competitions, and every year, my school wins many prizes in various competitions. I have even represented my school in a hockey championship and scored the second position.

The classrooms are big and decorated beautifully with different artwork done by the students. Various projects and models are kept in the classroom for the students to keep on revising their concepts. The teachers use smartboards, and every day a new word is taught to enhance the students’ vocabulary. Every day one student presents the ‘Thought for the Day’. These positive thoughts keep us motivated.

All the teachers at my school are very dedicated and punctual. They always teach us discipline and ask us to come to school on time. Our teachers love us, and they teach us in a very simple and easy way. Whenever we fail to understand anything, they try to make us understand it again without shouting at us. They give equal attention to all the students, and that is why my school has an excellent academic record.

The teachers are well qualified. They use different techniques to teach us the concepts. The atmosphere in the school is fun-filled and fruitful at the same time. The school’s entire staff, from the security guard to the teachers, is very helpful and polite.

We learn many life skills also in school. Discipline, hard work, and punctuality are some of them. During sports classes, we learn teamwork and work together to win.

The best part of my school is its auditorium where all the school events and competitions take place. We also have school assemblies in our Auditorium. Sometimes the students from other schools come and participate in the different competitions organised in our schools. These events are called inter-school competitions. These events are very good as we get to learn new things from other students and make many new friends.

Apart from the annual cultural day, my school is famous for organising one of the biggest annual sports meets. I love this annual sports meet because sports are my favourite. In this annual sports meet, various sports competitions are organised, and almost 50 schools participate in these competitions and win multiple titles. Me, my friends, and our seniors also participate in these competitions and make our school proud by winning in them. My school has great teachers, excellent faculty and all the facilities that one student needs to excel in his/her life.

The biggest reason behind the success and fame of my school is our Principal Sir. He is 50 years old, yet very active and disciplined. He has an attractive personality, and his knowledge is commendable. He loves all the students and always spare some time from his busy schedule to monitor the progress of all the students. I admire his personality and principles. He always encourages us to take part in various extracurricular activities, and it is the result of his support & dedication that the students of my school always perform better in all the competitions. We all are fortunate to have him as our Principal.

There is a big library and a science laboratory in my school. It has many books on different subjects. We daily go to the library and read books. There is also a staff- room, an assembly hall and Principal office.

About seven hundred students read in my school. They do well in the examinations. There are forty teachers in our school. They are highly experienced. They are hardworking. They teach us very sincerely.

I study in one of the oldest schools in the city. The name of my school is ‘Delzin T. Ookajee Girls’ High School. The name of the school is written on the board of the front building. My school is 139 years old. It was established by a Parsi group of generous people way back in 1876. They donated land and money for the school.

Our school has three buildings and a huge playground. It even has a campus. A small hostel for outstation students is situated on the campus. In the beginning, our school was limited to two buildings. The third building was built just thirty years before. Each building has three floors. More than two thousand students study in my school. The three buildings of my school consist of thirty-nine classrooms. It has a laboratory and a big library. Our library has a collection of more than ten thousand books. The office is on the first floor.

The Principal’s office is next to the staff room on the second floor. Every building of our school has a dining hall. Students use this hall to enjoy their lunch break. There are in all thirty-one teachers and eight peons in my school. All of them carry out their duties with great responsibility, pride, and dedication.

All the teachers are well qualified, trained, and experienced. Our Principal is a learned man. He teaches us Mathematics and Science. We have a huge assembly hall situated on the ground floor. Daily we assemble for our morning prayers. Annual prize distribution function and other activities are held in the assembly hall. My classroom is on the first floor. An annual sport is held on the playground. We have a small water fountain on one side of the ground.

Every year we celebrate Republic Day, Independence Day, Teacher’s Day as well as Children’s Day in our school. We also organize debate and quiz competitions. My school publishes a yearly magazine named ‘Delzonian’ All the interesting events of the school are mentioned in the magazine. My school also runs Boxing classes, dance classes as well as classes for different sports and games. We also have our own troop of Boy Scouts and Girl Guides.

I am very proud of my school. The discipline, the study atmosphere, and the excellent academic result of our school fascinate many students from distant parts of our state. Therefore, one can say that I study in an ideal school in every respect.

Children are the real asset of any nation. This asset is kept secure in a school. Here children learn a lot of things and grow up to be cultured and well-behaved citizens and contribute to the progress of a nation.

My school is within walking distance from my house. My school building is three-storeyed. The building looks very attractive because of the stone outer walls. The school contains 40 classrooms which are very spacious. Special attention is paid to cleanliness. A dustbin is provided for each classroom and students are asked to throw the garbage in it only. Apart from this, the classrooms are cleaned every day. This helps in maintaining a clean and hygienic atmosphere in the school.

Our school has a total of 3000 students. The school conducts classes from standard 5th to standard 12th. There is a separate staff room for all the teachers. The Office of the Principal and vice principal is just near the main door. The school building is surrounded by many trees. A very well-maintained garden with colorful flowers on both sides of the entrance makes one happy and feel fresh.

Behind the school building, there is a big playground. Here we play many games, right from kabaddi to cricket. Special coaching is provided for the students here. Our school has won many trophies and prizes in various inter-school tournaments. The school is well equipped with all the necessary sports material. Students learn and practice swimming in the centrally placed swimming tank. It has also got a big and spacious recreation hall where different kinds of intellectual and entertainment programs are held.

Our school timings are from morning 8 to afternoon 2 o’clock. We start our prayer with the Gayatri mantra followed by a small instructive talk or a moral story. The classes start immediately after that. The latecomers are punished. A security guard is always present at the entrance for the safety of the children. A thought is written on the blackboard every day and students are expected to put it into practice. Our school is very strict in case of discipline. The uniforms, nails, of students, are checked every day. A monthly report is sent to the parents.

We also have a very good library housed in a small hall. The library contains books on all subjects and we get newspapers and monthly or weekly subscriptions there. We, students, make full use of this facility. A doctor visits our school regularly. Uniforms and books are distributed to the poor and needy students. Scholarships are given to intelligent students. We invite a renowned person as a guest every year for our annual day. Various sports activities and cultural programs are held on this occasion. The winners and meritorious students are awarded on this day.

Our school is definitely an ideal school because of all these qualities. I am very proud of my school.

It is located in Aliganj and is affiliated to the CBSE Board. It is administered by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan situated in New Delhi controlled by the Ministry of Human Resource Development.

It is a co-educational school aiming at the changing moral values of the society that serves the education to the students whose parents are in defense or military.

It has connectivity with the National Council of Educational and Research Training (NCERT) that provides the essential courses in the curriculum in the courses to study for the development of the child. It provides important instructions for the schools to follow up, which are in connection with it. My school was established many years back ago with strict rules and regulations for every student to follow.

Every year the students of class Xth and XIIth give the AISEE examinations for the science stream of 11 th and 12 th class with subjects of biology, computers, maths, informatics and combined with linguistic languages of Hindi and English. The school opens the admission vacancies in the month of March every year for the students of LKG and 1 st Class only.

The guidelines for the admission process are given by the month of February’s first week only. They give admission to the child on the basis of priority and merit list. The working system of the school is punctual as it opens daily at 7 0’clock in the morning and closes at 2 0’clock in the afternoon.

It is a well-disciplined school with highly experienced teachers and good communication skills. They interact with every student to help them in understanding the basic concepts of every subject. They make every child feel stress-free so that he or she would not hesitate to clear his or her doubts or any confusion when in need.

They work with each and every child and helps them in their personality development and make sure they bring out the best in themselves with high intelligence and confidence.

Kendriya Vidyalaya is not only famous for providing quality education to the students but also stands proudly in the title of having perfect school infrastructure for the betterment of the children. It provides well-constructed buildings with a clean environment and pure air for the children to breathe in fresh and unpolluted surroundings.

They have perfectly constructed labs for the science stream students. The science lab is well equipped with apparatus and other objects to be used for performing the experiments by the school. They are shown experiments by the teachers and explained regarding every apparatus they would use in preparing the solutions to find out the conclusions to their experiment.

They provide separate practicals files to the students so that they can note down the aim of the experiment, apparatus they need to use for the experiment, objective, which is the reason why they are performing it, procedure, to tell the way or method for how to add solutions, test them and then lastly find their solutions.

They have smart classes for the students so that they could learn attractive things and interact with basic important things in their surroundings. In these classes, a projector is kept that shows the PowerPoint presentations with the help of images, videos, and written points in short so that students could adapt fast learning skills and remember always.

The computer labs are filled with computers proper working conditions connected with CPU (Central Processing Unit) and UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) in case the electricity goes off. It prevents the interruption in the working of students in the computer labs.

There are so many multimedia objects in the computer lab other than computers to teach the students how they are put to use. The maths lab for the students consists of shapes of circles, squares, rectangles covered with colorful papers and cardboard with given sides of length breadth and height.

There are many cubes and different shapes. Formules are written on the charts stacked on the wall. Pictures of various scientists and mathematicians are hanged on the wall. Hence, my school has all the infrastructural facilities and is the most reputed school having more than a single branch in each region.

A School Picnic Essay

My school organized a picnic on Children’s Day. It has been one of the most memorable days of my life. The school took us to a resort that had swings and greenery. We went there by bus with all our friends.
