আমার জীবনের একটি স্মরণীয় ঘটনা অনুচ্ছেদ, Essay on a memorable incident of my life in Bengali 

আমাদের জীবনে রোজই কোনো না কোনো ঘটনা ঘটে যায়, কখনো বড় আবার কখনো ছোটো। কিছু ঘটনা এমন থাকে যার ঘটার সম্ভাবনা আগে থেকেই আমরা বুঝে নেই অথবা আমাদের পূর্বেই অনুমান হয়ে যায় যে এমন কিছু ঘটতে পারে। কিছু ঘটনা আমাদের আনন্দ দেয় আবার কোনো কোনো ঘটনা আমাদের মন খারাপের কারণ হয়ে দাঁড়ায়। তবে সময়ের সাথে সাথে আমাদের মন থেকে এগুলো মুছে যায়। তবে আকস্মিক কিছু ঘটলে বা হঠাৎ ঘটে যাওয়া ঘটনাগুলোর বেশিরভাগই আমাদের মনে স্মৃতি তৈরি করে রাখে। আজ এমনই একটি ঘটনার কথা বলবো।

ঘটনার দিনের শুরু, The day when the incident happened 

আমার বয়স তখন অনেক কম, আমি মাত্র ক্লাস ৪ এ পড়ি। সকালে উঠে স্কুলে গিয়েছিলাম। সময় মত ফিরেও এসেছিলাম বাড়িতে। অন্য স্বাভাবিক দিনের মতোই শুরু হয়েছিল সেই দিনটা। স্কুল থেকে বাড়ি ফেরার পর দৈনন্দিন কাজ গুলো করে নিলাম। দুপুর হলে মা ও দিদার সাথে বসে আমার শিশুকালের গল্প শুনছিলাম। সময়টা ছিল চৈত্র মাস।

গরমের সময়, রোদও কড়া। আমাদের বাড়ি কিছুদিন আগে মাত্র পাকা করা হয়েছিল, তাই সিলিং ফ্যানও নতুন লাগানো হয়। ঘরের ভেতরে বসে ফ্যানের বাতাসে গরম ততটা গায়ে লাগছিল না। দিদা তখন বলছিলেন যে আগেকার সময়ে এমন চৈত্রের দুপুরের রোদ মাটি থেকে যেন সব জল টেনে নিত, যখন তাদের জমি ছিল, ফসল উৎপাদনে এসময় খুব সমস্যা সৃষ্টি হত।

বড় ভূমিকম্প হলে যেমন মাটিতে ফাটল দেখা দেয় ঠিক তেমন ফাটল দেখা যেত ফসলের মাঠে। তখন ভাবতে পারিনি যে ভূমিকম্পের উচ্চারণ হতে হতেই এর সত্যিকারের অনুভূতিও পেয়ে যাবো। 

হঠাৎ করেই শুরু হয় ভূমিকম্প, The earthquake started suddenly

আমি কথাগুলো শুনতে শুনতে মনে মনে সেই পরিস্থিতির ছবি পরিকল্পনা করছিলাম, এমন সময় হঠাৎ করে বিছানা নড়তে লাগলো, আমি তো প্রথম ভেবেছি মা বা দিদার মধ্যে মধ্যে কেউ পা নাড়াচ্ছে কিন্তু তৎক্ষণাৎ তাদের পায়ের দিয়ে লক্ষ্য করে দেখি এমন কিছুই না। তারা দুজন ধড়মড়িয়ে উঠলো বিছানা থেকে, সাথে আমাকেও টেনে নামালো।

আমি তো সেই মুহূর্তে একেবারে হতভম্ব হয়ে গিয়েছিলাম। কি হচ্ছে কিছুই বুঝতে পারছিনা। বাড়ির সবাই ঘরে বাইরের দিকে ছুট দিল। আমি বের হতে হতে দেখলাম ঘরের প্রায় সব জিনিসই কাঁপছে, আলমারির উপর থেকে কিছু জিনিস তো নিচে পড়েই গেলো, আমি ফিরে সেগুলো তুলতে যাচ্ছিলাম ওমনি মা বললেন সেটা পরে তোলা যাবে এখন বাইরে যাওয়া জরুরী।

আমি এর আগে ভূমিকম্প সম্পর্কে বই তে পড়েছিলাম। আমার মনে আছে স্কুলে একবার ভূমিকম্প নামক প্রাকৃতিক দুর্যোগে কি কি করণীয় তা নিয়ে একটি কর্মশালা আয়োজিত হয়েছিল, কিন্তু প্রত্যক্ষ এই অভিজ্ঞতা হওয়ার সময় সেটা এতটাই হঠাৎ করে হয়েছিল যে আমি কি করবো কি না তাই বুঝতে পারছিলাম না।

আশে পাশের বাড়িতে উলু ধ্বনি দিচ্ছে, আবার কেউ ঘণ্টা বাজাচ্ছেন আবার কেউ শঙ্খ বাজাচ্ছেন। আমি জীবনে প্রথমবার ভূমিকম্প অনুভব করলাম সেদিন। প্রায় ৪-৫ মিনিট ধরে এই ভূকম্পন বজায় ছিল। চারদিক শান্ত হলে পর সকলে বাইরে দাঁড়িয়ে এ নিয়ে কথা বলতে শুরু করলেন। বাবা বললেন বেশ কয়েক বছরের মধ্যে এমন অভিজ্ঞতা তাদের হয় নি। আমি আর কি বলবো, আমার তো এটাই ছিল প্রথম অভিজ্ঞতা।

ভূমিকম্পের পর ঘরের অবস্থা, The condition of the house after the earthquake

ভূমিকম্পের আলোচনা শেষে সকলে ঘরে ঢুকলাম। দেখি বেশ কিছু জিনিস নিচে মেঝেতে পড়ে রয়েছে। দুর্ভাগ্যবশত একটি বাল্ব কম্পনের কারণে খুলে নিচে পড়ে ভেঙে রয়েছে। টুকরোগুলো যেন কারো পায়ে না গেঁথে যায় তাই মা তাড়াতাড়ি করে সেগুলো পরিষ্কার করলেন। বাবা স্থানীয় খবরের চ্যানেল টিভি তে চালিয়ে দিলেন।

খবরে ভূমিকম্প নিয়ে কথা বলছিল, যেখানে প্রকাশ করা হয় যে, রিখটার স্কেলে ভূমিকম্পের মাত্রা ছিল ৬.৩। আমি কৌতূহলী হয়ে সারা ঘর ভালোভাবে দেখতে শুরু করি, কোথাও কোনো ফাটল ধরেছে কি না তাই খুঁজছিলাম। হঠাৎ দেখলাম রান্নাঘরের জানালার নিচের অংশে একটা ফাটল দেখা দিয়েছে।

এটা দেখে আমার কৌতুহল আরো বেড়ে যায়। এবার আমি উঠোনের চারদিক খুঁজতে শুরু করলাম, কিন্তু সেখানে কিছুই পেলাম না। রান্নাঘরের সেই জানালার কাছে গিয়ে দেখি ঠিক জানালার নিচের দেওয়াল যেখানে মাটিতে মেশে সেখানে হালকা একটি ফাটল। আমি মনে মনে সাত পাঁচ ভাবতে শুরু করলাম। বই তে ছবি দেখেছি ইমারত ভেঙে পড়ে যায় ভূমিকম্পে, যদি আজ আমাদের বাড়িতেই এমন হয় ! না জানি কি হতো তবে !

যাই হোক, ভাবতে ভাবতে ঘরে ফিরে একথা সবাইকে বললাম, তারাও এসে দেখলো এবং মেরামতের ব্যাপারে আলোচনা করলেন। বিকেল হলে পর আমি বাবার সাথে আশেপাশের এলাকা পরিদর্শনে গেলাম। দেখার জন্য মন খুব উৎসুক হচ্ছিল যে চারদিকে কোথায় কি হয়েছে ভূমিকম্পের কারণে। দেখলাম ১-২ টা পুরোনো গাছ পড়ে গেছে মাটিতে।

তাছাড়া প্রতিবেশীদের একজনের বাড়িতেও আমাদের মত ফাটল দেখা দিয়েছে। তাদের সাথে আমাদের তফাৎ এটাই ছিল যে আমাদের দেওয়ালে ফাটল ছিল আর তাদের ঘরের মেঝেতে। বাইরের যাদের সাথেই কথা বললাম দেখলাম সবাই ভয় পেয়েছে এই ভূমিকম্পের কারণে। 

ভূমিকম্পের অভিজ্ঞতা, Earthquake experience

ভূমিকম্পের অভিজ্ঞতা আমার জীবনে হঠাৎ ঘটে যাওয়া একটি স্মরণীয় ঘটনা ছিল। আমার সেদিন আনন্দও হয়েছিল, ভয়ও অনুভব হয়েছিল। ভয়ের কারণ হয়তো খুব স্বাভাবিক, সেটা এমন ভয়ংকর ভুকম্পে সকলেরই হতে পারে।

তবে আনন্দ এজন্য হচ্ছিল কারণ আমার ভূমিকম্প নিয়ে আগেই পড়া হয়ে গিয়েছিল, তবে এভাবে প্রত্যক্ষ অভিজ্ঞতা পেয়ে যাবো সেটা হয়তো কখনো ভাবি নি। আমার জীবনের এই ঘটনা সর্বদাই মনে রাখার মত, এমনকি আমার তো মনে হয় যেন আমি চাইলেও কোনোদিন এটা ভুলতে পারবো না।

তবে আশা করেছিলাম যে পরবর্তী সময় ভূমিকম্প হয়ে সেবারের মত হতভম্ব বোধ করবো না। এমন সময় কি করতে হয় কি না তা অনুসারে প্রতিক্রিয়া দেব; যেমন : ভূমিকম্পের সময় ঘরের ভেতর না থেকে খোলা আকাশের নীচে দাঁড়াতে হয়, ইত্যাদি। তবে এরপর থেকে এখন অবধি বেশ কয়েকবার ভূমিকম্প অনুভূত হয়েছে, কখনো হালকা কম্পন আবার কখনো একটু জোরদার। তবে আর সেদিনের মত আতঙ্কিত বা অবাক হই নি। 

শেষ কথা, Conclusion

ছোটবেলায় পাঠ্য বইয়ে কবি প্রেমেন্দ্র মিত্রের লেখা কবিতা ‘ হঠাৎ যদি ‘ কবিতা হয়তো সকলেই পড়েছেন, যেখানে বলা হয়েছে যে,”আমায় যদি হঠাৎ কোনো ছলে কেউ ক’রে দেয় আজকে রাতের রাজা, করি গোটাকয়েক আইন জারি দু’এক জনায় খুব কষে দিই সাজা।”

ঠিক এমনই হঠাৎ কোনো ছলে যেন ভূমিকম্প এসে আমায় এক নতুন অভিজ্ঞতা দিয়ে গেল। এমন ঘটনা অনেকের জীবনেই ঘটে যায়, যা ভুলে যাওয়া প্রায় অসম্ভব।

The most memorable day of my life was when I went on a school trip to Cox’s Bazar beach in Bangladesh. It was my first time going to the beach, and I was so excited. We woke up early in the morning and got on a big bus with all of our classmates. The journey was long, but we played games and sang songs to pass the time.

Finally, we arrived at the beach, and I was amazed at how beautiful it was. The water was so blue and clear, and the sand was so white and soft. We changed into our bathing suits and ran into the water, splashing and playing with our friends. We built sandcastles and played beach volleyball.

After spending the morning at the beach, we had a picnic lunch. We had sandwiches, fruit, and juice. We sat on the sand and ate our lunch while listening to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. It was so peaceful and relaxing.

In the afternoon, we went for a walk along the beach. We collected seashells and took lots of pictures. We also went for a boat ride on the ocean, which was so much fun. We saw lots of fish swimming in the water, and some of us even got to touch them.

As the sun began to set, we sat on the beach and watched the sky turn orange and pink. It was so beautiful, and I felt so happy to be there with my friends. We sang songs and danced on the sand until it was time to go home.

That day was so special to me because I got to experience something new and exciting with my classmates. It was a day full of fun, laughter, and adventure. I will always remember that day and the memories we made together. It was truly the most memorable day of my life.

আমার জীবনের সবচেয়ে স্মরণীয় দিনটি ছিল যখন আমি বাংলাদেশের কক্সবাজার সমুদ্র সৈকতে স্কুল ভ্রমণে গিয়েছিলাম। এটা ছিল আমার প্রথমবার সমুদ্র সৈকতে যাওয়া, এবং আমি খুব উত্তেজিত ছিলাম। আমরা খুব সকালে ঘুম থেকে উঠে আমাদের সহপাঠীদের সাথে একটি বড় বাসে উঠেছিলাম। যাত্রাটি দীর্ঘ ছিল, কিন্তু সময় কাটানোর জন্য আমরা গেম খেলতাম এবং গান গাইতাম।

বিকেলে আমরা সমুদ্র সৈকতে হাঁটতে বের হলাম। আমরা সিশেল সংগ্রহ করেছি এবং প্রচুর ছবি তুলেছি। আমরা সমুদ্রে একটি নৌকা যাত্রার জন্যও গিয়েছিলাম, যা অনেক মজার ছিল। আমরা প্রচুর মাছকে জলে সাঁতার কাটতে দেখেছি এবং আমাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ তাদের স্পর্শ করতেও পেরেছে।

সূর্য ডুবতে শুরু করার সাথে সাথে আমরা সমুদ্র সৈকতে বসে দেখলাম আকাশ কমলা এবং গোলাপী হয়ে গেছে। এটা এত সুন্দর ছিল, এবং আমি আমার বন্ধুদের সাথে সেখানে থাকতে পেরে খুব খুশি বোধ করি। বাড়ি যাওয়ার সময় না হওয়া পর্যন্ত আমরা গান গেয়েছি এবং বালিতে নাচতাম।

সেই দিনটি আমার কাছে খুব বিশেষ ছিল কারণ আমি আমার সহপাঠীদের সাথে নতুন এবং উত্তেজনাপূর্ণ কিছু অভিজ্ঞতা পেয়েছি। এটি একটি মজা, হাসি, এবং দু: সাহসিক কাজ পূর্ণ একটি দিন ছিল. আমি সবসময় সেই দিনটি এবং আমরা একসাথে করা স্মৃতি মনে রাখব। এটা সত্যিই আমার জীবনের সবচেয়ে স্মরণীয় দিন ছিল.

My tenth birthday is the most memorable day of my life. It is a day I can never forget and I consider it to be the best birthday yet. The day started just like any other normal day. However, as it kept progressing, a lot of exciting things began to happen.

I woke up very early on my birthday because I had to dress up in casual clothes for school . The day before, all my candies were ready that I would distribute in the classroom.

My mother prepared my favourite breakfast and gave me a big chocolate bar for lunch as well. I went to school and the whole class sang for me and congratulated me. It was the turn to distribute sweets.

My best friend and I went to all the teachers to distribute toffees and we had a great time there. Moreover, it was an incredible feeling. My friends were all singing for me and eager to come to my birthday party later in the evening.

A Memorable Day in My Life

Human life is full of events. Many incidents happen in our life. Some of these are pleasant. We remember those for long. My first day at school is a memorable event in my life. I remember the day most.

That day I went to school very simply. But I put on new dress and shoe. I got a new school bag. I also took news books and pens. The day was very interesting to me because I felt much pleasure to get the education again after finishing the examination of Class V. It was my new school. Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the Indian Hockey Team captain Harmanpreet Singh for giving memorable farewell to the goalkeeper PR Sreejesh. Notably, Sreejesh had announced that Paris Olympics will be his last tournament for India. The 36-year-old ended his career on a high as Indian hockey team ended up winning their second consecutive bronze medal at the Games.

India beat Spain by 2-1 in the bronze medal match to clinch successive medals in hockey in Olympics after a whopping 52 years. Recently, Sreejesh was asked about his retirement decision by PM Modi who hosted the entire Indian contingent from the Paris Olympics at his residence in Delhi.

Speaking about his decision, the legendary goalkeeper said that he was thinking about it for a number of years and Olympics was the best platform to retire.

“I was thinking about it for a few years. Even my team members were asking that when will you retire (laughs). But I was thinking that I have been playing for around 20 years for my team so I will retire from a good platform. So Olympics is one such platform where entire world celebrates sports. So we thought there’s no better decision that this,” said Sreejesh.

PM Modi also praised India skipper Harmanpreet Singh for giving a memorable farewell to Sreejesh along with other teammates.

“I must say that the team will miss you for sure. However, the way the team gave you farewell. I appreciate them, Sarpanch sahab (Harmanpreet Singh) did great,” said PM Modi.

Sreejesh also thanked his teammates for their hearfelt gesture after the game and revealed that he thanked everyone at the podium.

A Memorable Day in My Life Essay

As I first faced this question-to say about my happiest day -I was frankly puzzled because childhood I have passed through a procession of memorable days, all important for reccl such a way that I *could not for a time decide as to which of them are to be left out in my as I am to choose only one and no more. I recollect with joy the day on which I passed village school. It was a day of great felicitation for me. I was equally happy on the day wl being led by father to get myself admitted into the best High School of the neighbouring t.c so happy at the very prospect of such a change from the village to the town that for t preceding night I could not sleep out of excitement. Then again, how happy I felt whi annual prize dist, ibution ceremony of my High School I was called upon thrice to receive three first prizes and when every time I was to shake hands with the president in presence of my father. But. superseding them all, rises the day on which I received the news of having passed S S C Examination.  

None-the-less that day is yet preserved in my memory as the happiest day of my life. There are reasons for thinking so and reasons of a particular nature and peculiar to me alone. 

I was a fairly meritorious student and all hoped that I would get an easy passage with a comfortable first division. But I was very weak in Geography- a cross for which I was always dreading a failure. My chance was lying in the standard of the question paper. But the paper that year was exceptionally stiff. So I answered some questions but could riot feel sure whether I would secure the pass marks. When the result was out, I feared to come myself to know my fate and asked a friend. who was coming from a neighbouring village, to ascertain my result and intimate me. I gave him my roll and my name was known to him. lie made a mistake in looking for 429 instead of 219 as he lost slip which I gave him. It was found that the roll he looked for had got plucked and he communicated to me accordingly. I readily believed the information and broke it to my parents and others at home. I do not like to describe at length the tide of Teproach that was let loose on me. I was the most wretched creature on earth. When the tirade was over, all my faults and follies, real or imaginary, being discussed in detail, my mother feebly proposed that I should try another chance to which others reluctantly agreed.

Next day I went to the school straight and met the Headmaster. As I proposed, with my eyes cast down, that I had gone to get myself admitted again, he looked at me with astonished eyes. Then he asked me : "What do you mean?" As I repeated my former proposal, he burst into a laughter and asked : Have you gone off your head? flow can a passed student appear again?" Then he summoned the result register and showed me that I had .passed in the second division. What a thrill of joy ran through my whole body! 

That moment-the moment I was on the road-I will never forget in life. Everything around seemed jolly and cheerful. When I reached home and held my mother in a wild embrace, she was literally perplexed. When I told her that I had not failed at all but had passed, her face beamed with joy. The news spread like wild fire throughout our big family and a radical change took place in the whole atrwsphere. All who condemned me, now came forward and blessed me and spoke highly of me. President Biden and Kamala Harris appeared together in Maryland this afternoon for their first public event since Biden ended his bid for re-election. They were there to celebrate the results of a legislative accomplishment: landmark price negotiations that are expected to lower the cost of prescription drugs.

More than anything, however, the event felt like the passing of the Democratic torch. Biden, who is seeking to cement his legacy, trumpeted his decades-long push to lower drug prices. But there was no doubt that Harris was the main attraction .

The vice president coaxed the energetic crowd into chanting “thank you, Joe,” after articulating the real-world impact of Biden’s signature health care policies in a way that the president has struggled to. When Harris was done and Biden began to speak, the crowd began to filter out of the venue.
