Here’s how to export a LinkedIn profile to a PDF.
Starting on the LinkedIn website, there is an option to export a PDF. Follow these steps to create a PDF of your own profile or the profile of another LinkedIn member.
- Navigate to your LinkedIn home page using your favorite internet browser.
- Click the Me icon at the top of the page to open a dropdown menu.
- Choose View Profile. Here you can navigate to another LinkedIn member profile if you choose.
- Below the profile photo and cover photo area, click the More button.

You can download your profile as many times as you want, but if you’re using this option for other member profiles, you’re limited to 100 PDF downloads per month.

You're now on LinkedIn's resume creation tool screen. Here, you can add and exclude whatever information you want in your resume. To add or remove a section in your resume, click the pencil icon next to a section on the page.
The site will open a box with your selected section in it. Here, you can modify the contents of your section and click "Save" at the bottom of the box to save your changes. Or, you can click "Delete" to remove this section from your resume altogether.
When you've finished editing your resume, click "Preview" at the top of the LinkedIn site to preview your resume.
If you're happy with the result, click "More" at the top of the LinkedIn site, and then select "Download as PDF." This will download your resume as a PDF to your computer.
You're all set.
In addition to the ability to download your own resume, you can also download other LinkedIn members' resumes. You don't need to be connected with a member to be able to download their resume, but there's a limit of 200 downloads for others' resumes. (You can download your own resume an unlimited number of times, though.)
To download someone's profile, first, open their profile on LinkedIn . On the profile page, right beneath the cover image (the large image at the top of the page), click the "More" option, and then select "Save to PDF."
Your browser will start downloading a PDF resume of your selected LinkedIn member.

If you are making changes to your profile and you don’t want to lose what you already have, or you just want to keep a copy for your records, you have the option to save and download the current version of your profile as a PDF.

To begin, open your LinkedIn homepage and click “Me” in the upper right-hand corner.
Click View Profile.
Once you are on your profile, click “More”.
Click Save to PDF.
You will be able to find the PDF wherever your downloads go on your computer. Make sure you save this as your latest version, so if you make any changes you have it for reference. That’s it, you’re done!

You can easily export your or another user's LinkedIn resume in a few simple steps. This wikiHow will show you how to get a LinkedIn resume by using a desktop browser on PC and Mac.
Things You Should Know
- You will only be able to download a LinkedIn resume on a desktop browser.
- To download a resume, go to a LinkedIn profile. Click "More" then "Save to PDF".
- You can save your own resume by going to your profile. Click "More" then "Save to PDF".
- If you are not already logged in, enter your login information in the field at the top of the screen and click Sign in .

Have you ever watched the movie Mary Poppins? When she comes for a job interview, one of the first questions Mr. Banks asks her is if she has a recommendation letter. These recommendation letters never really went out of fashion.
They just changed their appearance and now are mainly in the shape of digital paragraphs written by your former colleagues, managers, etc., and where is better to share them than on a professional job-oriented social platform? But some people might wonder how to export LinkedIn recommendations and add them to their CV . There is not really a formal and announced way for that.
You may read about some different ways like PDF services and/or LinkedIn’s own PDF feature. I’m not saying they don’t work, but LinkedIn’s PDF service is disappointing.
I mean, you log into your account and open your profile and click on more, then select ‘Save to PDF’.
The profile gets downloaded, and you open it to see that 2/3 of the profile, including recommendations, skills , awards, etc. is not there. That is what disappointment from an excellent social network feels like.
The other CV maker services might disappoint you the same way; for example, I got a chrome extension named “the responsive CV,” which simply did not work on my system.
Maybe it does in yours, and I tried to export my profile as a PDF in some other service and couldn’t really use them as well. So, is there no way to export recommendations?
There is still one way to export LinkedIn recommendations. That is the traditional beloved copy/paste.
It might seem a bit unprofessional, but it is the easiest and most reliable way if you insist on having LinkedIn recommendations in your CV.
It also benefits you. I mean, who knows when people decide to remove their account or change their company name or field of work? This way, you still have those valuable recommendations in a safe place and can always use them.
- So log into your account,
- open your profile from the ‘Me’ button,
- scroll down until you see the recommendations section,
- and copy the content you want, then paste them into the Microsoft Word app where you are writing your CV.
You can also paste them into a separate document and send them as a list of recommendations that is attached to your CV.
It is suggested to edit the spelling and Grammar mistakes that people might have when writing these recommendations, but never tamper with the content of the testimonies.
They are not on LinkedIn anymore, so don’t forget to enter the name and title of the writer precisely, and it is recommended to include their picture and LinkedIn URL.
You can copy their picture from the recommendations section, or if you think the quality is too low, you can either go to their profile to see if the photo is better there, or you can look into their posts to see if they have a suitable photo there (ask them if you can use their photo for the purpose).
And you can always bring your LinkedIn URL in your resume instead of all these troubles.
Why the recommendations?
The recommendations and endorsements are so valuable on LinkedIn . They are the live proof of your expertise, professional characteristics, skills, talents, etc., and the most important thing is that you did not self-praise over a matter; these testimonies are coming from your managers, CEOs, and colleagues that you used to work with.
Although it is becoming harder and harder to test these recommendations’ credibility, most employers and recruiters still rely on them and decide if they want to work with you based on this information.
Recommendations can be the one thing that makes you shine among other competitors. They add value and cause people to trust you much more accessible. They are the live image of you and your behavior in the workplace.
Although not having them is no deal breaker, it is still scarce for people to have more than a few genuine recommendations in their LinkedIn profile and believe that the recruiters can say if one recommendation is fake, and it is a terrible impression when they find out that you faked one.
It portrays you as a liar before their eyes and causes them to make up their minds about you even before meeting you in person.

The IEA Oil Market Report (OMR) is one of the world's most authoritative and timely sources of data, forecasts and analysis on the global oil market – including detailed statistics and commentary on oil supply, demand, inventories, prices and refining activity, as well as oil trade for IEA and selected non-IEA countries.
- Global oil demand growth is losing momentum, with annual gains easing from 2.8 mb/d in 3Q23 to 1.8 mb/d in 4Q23. A sharp drop in China underpinned an 830 kb/d decline in global oil demand to 102.1 mb/d in the last quarter of 2023. The pace of expansion is set to decelerate further to 1.2 mb/d in 2024, compared with 2.3 mb/d last year. China, India and Brazil will continue to dominate gains.
- World oil supply in January posted a sharp decline of 1.4 mb/d m-o-m after an Arctic blast shut in production in North America and as OPEC+ deepened output cuts. Record output from the US, Brazil, Guyana and Canada will nevertheless help boost non-OPEC+ supply by 1.6 mb/d this year compared to 2.4 mb/d in 2023, when total global oil supply rose by 2 mb/d to an average 102.1 mb/d.
- Refinery throughputs are set to accelerate from a seasonal low of 81.5 mb/d in February. Atlantic Basin activity will recover from US weather-related disruptions that cut runs by up to 1.7 mb/d, despite a pickup in planned maintenance and as new capacity comes online in the non-OECD. For 2024 as a whole, refinery crude runs are forecast to rise by 1 mb/d to 83.3 mb/d, as a 330 kb/d decline in the OECD mitigates non-OECD gains.
- Refining margins recovered from early-January weakness in the Atlantic Basin, led by the US Gulf Coast following the mid-month winter freeze. Although Singapore margins posted a narrow m-o-m gain, the $4.50/bbl increase on average in USGC margins was driven by the late-month rally in cracks that pushed Atlantic Basin margins to their highest level since late September.
- Global observed oil stocks plummeted by about 60 mb in January, preliminary data indicate, with on-land inventories falling to their lowest level since at least 2016. In December, global stocks rose by 21.6 mb as a surge in oil on water (+60.7 mb) more than offset draws in on-land inventories (-39 mb). OECD industry stocks fell by 24.1 mb in December, reflecting declines in all three regions.
- Amid intensifying hostilities in the Middle East and North American supply outages, ICE Brent futures rose by $5/bbl during January - their first monthly gain since September. The forward structure flipped from contango to backwardation, as diverted Red Sea tanker traffic congested Asia-Europe supply chains and delayed flows into the Atlantic Basin. At the time of writing, Brent was trading at $83/bbl.
Global oil market balances tightened in January despite apparent demand weakness. An extreme Arctic freeze that swept through key oil producing regions in the United States and Canada prompted significant supply outages that coincided with fresh voluntary output curbs by some OPEC+ countries. Escalating geopolitical tensions in the Middle East added further upward momentum, as oil tankers circumventing the Red Sea disrupted supply flows to global markets. Brent crude oil futures rose by $5/bbl during the month and were trading around $83/bbl at the time of writing.
The expansive post-pandemic growth phase in global oil demand has largely run its course. The pace of growth already eased sharply, from 2.8 mb/d in 3Q23 to 1.8 mb/d in 4Q23, with an apparent slowdown in China underpinning an 830 kb/d decline in consumption in the final quarter of the year. The deceleration will gather pace in 2024, with world oil demand growth forecast to average 1.2 mb/d, only half last year’s solid expansion. As in 2023, gains will be dominated by a few key countries, most notably China, and to a lesser extent India and Brazil. The three major economies are set to account for 78% of growth in global oil demand in 2024, that is forecast to reach a new peak of 103 mb/d.
While higher global oil supply this year, led by the United States, Brazil, Guyana and Canada, should more than eclipse the expected rise in world oil demand, a sharp decline in output in January set the year off to a difficult start. Extreme weather conditions shut in more than 900 kb/d of production across North America. The steep loss coincided with fresh OPEC+ voluntary output cuts of around 300 kb/d, resulting in a massive 1.4 mb/d m-o-m decline in global oil supply. However, the rising wave of non-OPEC+ oil growth resumes in 2Q24, driving output on an upward trajectory for the rest of the year. World oil supply is set to increase by 1.7 mb/d to a record 103.8 mb/d in 2024, with non-OPEC+ providing 95% of the incremental barrels.
With the robust outlook for non-OPEC+ supply, our balances suggest a slight build in inventories in 1Q24 despite the extension and deepening of OPEC+ supply curbs. From 2Q24 onwards, continuation of this strength could leave OPEC+ pumping above requirements for its crude oil if extra voluntary cuts are unwound in the second quarter.
Given heightened geopolitical risks and low global oil inventories, a modest surplus may help contain market volatility. While oil on water surged by 60 mb in December due to end-year tax considerations and as a number of tanker owners diverted ships away from the Red Sea to around the Cape of Good Hope, observed onshore stocks declined by nearly 40 mb. Preliminary data suggest further draws in January, of more than 60 mb, with observable on-land stocks falling to their lowest level since at least 2016, the start of our data series. Low oil inventories exacerbate the price impact of supply and demand shocks and may limit the industry's ability to respond to unexpected strength in demand or disruptions to supply. As the IEA celebrates its 50th anniversary this week, oil supply security remains as critical as ever.
