do not use EF in Germany

my daughters went to Germany with EF, we would not recommend them for that country. Munich experience: Kid (14) had to care the landlady's daughter, parents never at home. Last day not even saying goodbye. Her Sister (16)in Berlin was left alone after being brought to an "EF Activity", ie going to a Bar! German lessons were average as any other German school.

EF Miami Beach is a great place to…

EF Miami Beach is a great place to visit if you wanna combine a beach vacation with learning English. And that's about it what you can do here. The EF Staff tries to offer many different interesting activities from city trips to sport activities. That's good. The building is old, but does his job and the classrooms are a little small. To conclude, my experience here is okay compared were I was before I came here (I'm not going to mention where I was). You can definitely improve your english if you are following the classes. The city isn't my favorite place but that's just a personal thing.

ENORMOUS WASTE OF MONEY

Horrible lodging, horrible food, I have no idea where our money went. If you want to travel, maybe print the itinerary and do it yourself. You’ll be much safer, and it will be cheaper.

gap year in EF Toronto

I was in EF Toronto for 6 months and i loved everything about my stay!! I’ve met so many cool people (starting from the staff of the school! sending love to all of them) and i’ve lived my best life in the city. my english improved exponencially. i would do that all over again with no hesitation❤️

Ibis London Heathrow lodging and lack of variety in food choices

Currently on an EF tour Ireland and UK. The tour guide and the destinations have been fine. Up until we got to lodging in London everything was decent. The lodging choice, Ibis London Heathrow, is a poor choice. Number one red flag was they sell condoms in the main lobby…second rooms are rented by the hour. The bedding is questionable, its not a mattress it’s a mattress topper with a flat sheet covering it. Another issue is the dinners. Every night was meat and potatoes, no variety in cuisine. Every night was either, fish, pot roast, or chicken paired with potatoes in various forms. Over two weeks on a trip with the same dinner every night is over kill. No child wants to eat the same meal every night. More variety is needed and the lodging choices need to be reviewed prior to booking as the London hotel is extremely questionable.

EF Miami is the best learning trip I ever been in my life. We never get bored and we have a lot of things to do in the campus. Mr Jones is the best staff member and manager of the school, he have always smile and good vibes.

I found the teachers and the school…

I found the teachers and the school outstanding. I feel much more at ease speaking German. My stay in Berlin would have been better however if the accommodation met my expectations. I stayed in quite expensive private residence. On the long weekend the toilet broke and I was left for the consecutive 2 more days witout one. Option was to go 1 floor up … the assistance from the organization was zero and as compensation i was offered food vouchers fir lunch at a chain restaurant or supermarket. As a result i moved to hotel and my stay was tainted with this unpleasant experience.

EF Miami was the best decision I made…

EF Miami was the best decision I made back in 2018. It was one of the best years of my life. Every day felt like fun despite the obligations I had. I met life long friends and the location did wonders for my mental health with the beach location and opportunities to stay active. I can’t say enough about my amazing experience here.

It's now my second experience with EF. My first was five years ago and I'm still in contact with my host family and a friend I met there. Currently I finished the booking process and again I'm very happy about the helpful customer service. :)

Best Korean learning experience in Seoul

Great life experience but could be better

My name is Noémie and when I was 18 ( 2 years ago), I went to EF San Diego where I spent 4 months. It was an incredible experience and was definitely worth it. The teachers there were really nice and thanks to them, I could improve my English significantly. Moreover, EF offers a bunch of interesting activities such as stays in Las Vegas or Los Angeles or even hiking and paddle activities and much more. However, there were some downsides as well. I think EF is, indeed, far too expensive for what it offers. I lived on campus and there were broken showers, toilets and washing machines on each floor and we only had cold water to wash up for about 5 weeks. On top of that, I had had a hart time to adapt there because the atmosphere reminded me a lot of the toxic atmosphere from my high-school with pretentious people who look down on others. Overall, although everything was not perfect, I enjoyed my time there, as it was very relaxing and I could make friends from all over the world.
